Attorney Thomas Mersch Joins Kelley Kronenberg as Partner
Former GC of Chicago-based Channel IQ to market and develop business for law firm's Chicago office
Chicago, IL, August 12, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Kelley Kronenberg, a national full-service law firm, announced that Thomas Mersch has joined as a Partner. He will focus on marketing and new business development for the law firm’s Chicago office in addition to practicing law in Florida. Mr. Mersch handles Business Transactions, and Data Privacy and Security Matters. He brings to the firm more than 30 years of experience as an attorney, corporate counsel and entrepreneur in multiple sectors including information technology, e-Commerce, finance, travel and government.
Prior to joining Kelley Kronenberg, Mr. Mersch served as General Counsel for Channel IQ, a rapidly growing Chicago based “Big Data” software provider for more than 300 of the worlds’ largest manufacturers. He was also the managing director of Channel IQ’s Spanish subsidiary.
Mr. Mersch has held influential legal leadership positions with a number of firms, formerly serving as an attorney for the Delta Airlines Dream Vacations Program, General Counsel and Vice President of Business Development for UCS, Inc. (a software company that was eventually acquired by SunGard Data Systems) and as President and Founder of an internet-based business services outsourcing company with more than 300 employees worldwide.
Mr. Mersch earned his undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University and his law degree from the University of Mississippi.
He will split his time between Kelley Kronenberg’s Fort Lauderdale office and Chicago office located at 190 S. LaSalle, Suite 450, Chicago, IL 60603.
