Atlanta Digital Event Series Passes Halfway Mark in Record Time

TechBridge's signature fundraising platform, the Atlanta Digital Event Series, has surpassed the 50% sold out mark in record time for 2016. Gather with supportive IT leaders in celebration of the impact technology has on nonprofits.

TechBridge is proud to announce that its signature fundraising platform, the Atlanta Digital Event Series, has already surpassed the 50% sold out mark in record time for 2016.  The series gathers IT leaders to celebrate the impact that technology has on nonprofits working to alleviate poverty in the community. Each event fosters new connections for the professional technology sector and introduces innovative ways supporters can increase nonprofit impact through technology. The series culminates in the Digital Ball®, a black-tie gala being held May 7, 2016 at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis.

The 2016 series is co-chaired by Janet Sherlock, SVP & CIO of Carter’s Inc. and Bryson Koehler, EVP, CTO & CIO of The Weather Company. They head up a group of Atlanta’s top CIO’s & IT leaders—more than 60 last year—serving as advocates for TechBridge.

I’m excited to be a part of what TechBridge is doing to grow the capacity of our community’s nonprofits, and am honored to co-chair the Digital Event Series this year. Join me in partnering with TechBridge to really show the kind of impact the technology industry can have in transforming the community.
—Bryson Koehler, EVP, CTO, & CIO of The Weather Company

Led for the sixteenth consecutive year by Presenting Sponsor Accenture, the lineup of sponsors features some of the most influential companies in Atlanta—including Infor, Dell, The Coca-Cola Company, Microsoft, Stalwart, HUNTER Technical, Fiserv, PwC, Apptio and more. They all gather in support of TechBridge’s strides to bring affordable technology to nonprofits.

The highlight of the Digital Ball is the presentation of the Technology Innovation Award (TIA), presented by Accenture. “The Technology Innovation Award is a signature way for Accenture to invest in our national nonprofits and our community as a whole. With TechBridge, we are helping nonprofits like Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta implement innovative technology that will transform them to better serve the people of our community,” said Keith Boone, Global Senior Managing Director at Accenture.

The 2015 Digital Ball culminated in Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Metro Atlanta receiving the 14th annual Technology Innovation Award. In addition, a pledge drive benefiting Atlanta Mission raised $58,000 from the evening’s attendees—far exceeding the goal of $30,000. Click here for more about the 2015 Atlanta Digital Event Series.
