Artman Golf Outing Raises Near Record High

Annual Event Supports Benevolent Care Fund at Ambler Retirement Community

95 golfers, corporate sponsors, and the generosity of the Ambler community helped take the 29th Annual Artman Golf Outing to new heights in 2013. The event raised a near record high $42,000, which benefits Artman's Benevolent Care Fund. The Benevolent Care Fund provides lifesaving resources to residents whose funds have been depleted.

"We are extremely grateful for everyone who helped make this year's Golf Outing a huge success," said Artman Executive Director Janet Lorenzon. "Without such loyal and dedicated supporters, the Benevolent Care Fund would not be possible."

The all-day event took place on May 13th at the North Hills Country Club, North Hills, PA, and featured lunch, golf (18 holes, scramble format,) skill contests (including a chance to win a car for a Hole-in-One on hole #9 and a chance to win $10,000 in a putting contest,) dinner and a silent auction.
