Array Networks Recognized as Industry Visionary in Gartner's SSL VPN Magic Quadrant 3Q2009 Report
Online, December 16, 2009 (Newswire.com) - MILPITAS, CA - December 16, 2009 - Array Networks Inc., a leading provider of optimized and secure universal access solutions, today announced it has been positioned in the visionaries quadrant of the Gartner North American SSL VPN Magic Quadrant1 report for 3Q2009.
According to Gartner, "Visionaries invest in the leading-edge or "bleeding edge" features that will be significant in next generation products and will give buyers early access to improved security and management. Visionaries can affect the course of technological developments in the market, but they lack the execution influence to outmaneuver challengers and leaders. Clients pick visionaries for best-of breed features, and, in the case of small vendors, may obtain more personal attention."
"We make an effort not only to respond to customer needs, but to anticipate before the next trend arrives," said Michael Zhao, president and CEO of Array Networks. "We took desktop remote access to the next level with power management features that allow users to turn computers on and off remotely, which ultimately provides increased security and makes companies greener by reducing use of electricity."
The Magic Quadrant considers which vendors will likely dominate sales and influence technology directions through 2009, as well as which vendors are most visible among clients, generate the greatest number of requests for information and contract review, and account for the most new and ongoing installations in Gartner's client base. Gartner ranks vendors in the Magic Quadrant based on performance for calendar year 2008 through the end of September 2009.
