Arlington County Awards Morcom International Inc. with Public Safety In-Building Wireless

Morcom International, Inc., Helps Local County Government Achieve a new standard of Public Safety with In-Building Wireless.

In January 2015, Arlington County recognized Morcom International, Inc., for their contribution in achieving a new standard of Public Safety for In-Building Wireless. Arlington County’s CIO, Mr. Jack Belcher presented the award Mr. Ojeda in a small ceremony this January for Morcom’s work on the highly advanced, new in-building wireless code of Arlington County.

‎Morcom International, Inc. worked hand-in-hand with local Government and public safety officials to redefine the Public Safety standards for In-Building Wireless for Arlington County. With so much new development and a growing demand for both public safety bands and mobile carrier access in buildings, the new standards will help guarantee that new comply with the RF coverage for ‎Public Safety and ‪‎First Responders, and anticipate potential crisis situations inside the new buildings that are quickly populating the busy streets of the county.

The Distributed Antenna System (DAS) has become the most viable alternative to converge the needs of both public safety and public appeal. The Neutral-Host DAS can carry both the Public Safety and the Cellular signals (3G, 4G networks) inside a venue, solving both dilemmas.

Morcom International, Inc. is honored to have received a special recognition from Arlington County for the services provided in defining the new in-building coverage ‪‎wireless standards.
