Ariento CEO and CMMC Marketplace Board Member Chris Rose to Speak at Up on Cyber in June 2020

Ariento Inc. announces that Ariento CEO and CMMC Marketplace board member Chris Rose will speak at the annual Up On Cyber Conference in June of this year.

Ariento Inc., an IT, cybersecurity and compliance service provider to small and mid-sized organizations, announced today that Ariento CEO and CMMC Marketplace board member Chris Rose will speak at the annual Up On Cyber Conference on June 25.

CMMC is a new cyber compliance standard that will be required for contractors by the Department of Defense (DoD). It is expected to take effect later this year.

CEO of Ariento and board member of CMMC Marketplace, Chris will speak on the various options and resources to prepare for the certifying third party assessing organizations (C3PAO) audits with an evaluation of a timeline and estimated cost associated. Additional speakers include members of the development team tasked by the Department of Defense to create the CMMC standard including the DoD.

This year’s Up On Cyber conference will be held virtually and will focus exclusively on the recently released CMMC cyber standard. “We wanted to provide a comprehensive look at CMMC and, therefore, built a speaker lineup that represents each stakeholder,” said Ariento’s Jennifer Fullerton.

Chris is the founder and managing partner of Ariento, a cybersecurity, IT and CMMC compliance service provider to small and mid-sized organizations. His background in information security began at a Fortune 200 company in 2006. He left to serve six years in the United States Marine Corps (USMC), where he was the country Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the Republic of Georgia, a role in which he built, secured and successfully protected the USMC cyber architecture in a highly vulnerable cyber threat environment. Upon returning to the United States, Chris pursued an MBA and Masters of Computer Science from UCLA and worked for the MITRE Corporation as a cybersecurity engineer, a role in which he identified more than 1,000 vulnerabilities and recommended fixes in national security software. Chris gives back to the cyber community through serving on numerous boards, appearing as a regular speaker for various outlets including the Wall Street Journal, and teaching topics of cybersecurity and privacy at UCLA and other institutions. Ariento provides cybersecurity, information technology (IT), and compliance services to small and mid-sized organizations. Comprised of a veteran team boasting decades of experience at the highest levels of the United States military and federal government, Ariento specializes in delivering best-in-class technology solutions that are secure and regulatory compliant.
