In August 2009, the company was acquired by Creative Emporium, the Leeds based promotional merchandise and clothing group and after over ten years in the online market place they decided it was time to redesign and launch a brand new website. Since the year 2000, Argon Promotions have been operating as a web based distributor and have seen some very promising results which have encouraged them to branch out further and attract a wider audience. Recognising the importance of website usability, Argon Promotions decided that a new website would enable them to improve their service offering and appear modernised and up to date alongside competitors.
Argon Promotions' new website provides everything a customer needs in an online shopping environment. With a fresh and clean cut design, the site now appears more sophisticated and makes shopping for promotional products a lot easier. Products are listed clearly and concisely in a new mega menu and are split into defined categories for easy navigation. Customers are also able to search by categories or by price, depending on their own needs. Aside from the traditional promotional items people are used to buying, the Argon Promotions team have also tagged products under categories like "Medical" and "Tradeshows" for further inspiration. The new layout appears attractive to the consumer's eye and aids purchasing decision proficiently.
The website has been designed to integrate with social networks as it enables users to bookmark products and share amongst the most popular platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. Customers can also sign up to the regular newsletter which keeps them well connected and engaged with the Argon brand. These simple tools will work well to spread messages virally and tap into social hubs where key influencers can be found. It is a new and free way of marketing the brand.

The new website has been designed by Creative Emporium's in-house web team and their MD Darren Cohen explains,
"After the purchase of Argon Promotions, rather than just sitting on the success of an already well established and thriving business, we wanted to develop and grow the business further. We feel that a redesign of the website will not only make it easier for our customers to use but will also integrate the brand with our existing business".
