Ares Direct Giving Back to the San Jose Community
SAN JOSE, CA , June 30, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Ares Direct associates recently partnered with the Green Education Foundation to sponsor a clothing drive. The firm’s President discussed goals for future charity events and giveback opportunities.

This commitment to being a positive force in San Jose led Jeremy and his team to partner with the Green Education Fund, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to teaching sustainable living. Together, they ran a clothing drive for almost the entire month of April.
“The Ares Direct Clothing Drive was great!” Jeremy stated. “It took place from April 5 to April 28. We collected gently-used clothes and shoes. It was a huge success, and I’m extremely proud of the way the entire team jumped in. Everyone was involved.”

Being new to the San Jose area, Jeremy and his team are looking to make a positive impact right away. The Ares Direct Clothing Drive was just the first of many charitable events on the horizon for the firm. Jeremy plans on putting together a food shelter service day, a toy drive, and a food drive, just to name a few.
“I believe that having goals is necessary for growth and achievement,” declared Jeremy. “I set personal and professional targets for myself, and as a team we determine objectives for Ares Direct. Sales, revenue, profit and loss, internal promotions, growth – these are all areas that are essential to the business, so we have metrics attached to them. While some might not believe charitable giving to be an essential function, it is for us. So we’ve set goals for how many ways we can give back to San Jose.”
While the firm’s people support good causes because they feel like it’s the right thing to do, companies do reap benefits from being philanthropic, Jeremy explained.
