ARA Asset Management Likely To Boost Assets Through Property Funds, Invezz Reports In A New Article

iNVEZZ.com, a portal for investors, has published a new article, reporting that the Singapore-listed real estate trusts manager ARA Asset Management Ltd is looking to double its assets under management by expanding its private property funds.

Investor portal iNVEZZ today released a news article reporting that ARA Asset Management Ltd is considering expansion by means of acquisitions and enhancing existing properties. The news highlights the growing popularity of property funds which have recently been attracting a lot of investment attention alongside real estate investment trusts (REITs).

In its news article, iNVEZZ reports that ARA Asset Management Ltd, which already has six REITs, wants to focus on boosting private property funds after attracting major US pension investors such as Teacher Retirement System of Texas and California Public Employees' Retirement System.

ARA Asset Management is also reported as still considering the IPO of its Dynasty REIT, which the asset manager cancelled at the end of October on account of weak demand for new equity. In its commentary, iNVEZZ notes that Singapore REITs have been enjoying a lot of investor attention of late and points out that Mapletree Greater China Commercial Trust recently made an impressive market debut.

The iNVEZZ news article then goes on, saying that in addition to REITs real estate funds have also been attracting significant investor attention, with Thailand's biggest industrial developer Hemaraj Land and Development recently reported as planning to raise money through real estate funds. In addition, Thai billionaire Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi is expected to raise 50 billion baht (£1.1 billion) by injecting assets into two existing property funds, while Land & Houses, one of Thailand's biggest housing developers, is likely to set up a property fund later this year.

The new iNVEZZ article is part of the news section of the portal, which provides investors with timely information on current happenings in the investment world. In addition, iNVEZZ also features in-depth analysis on topical investment issues, providing insights into a range of investment products and markets.
