Appointment of Eric Dippel, MD as Medical Officer
PALM HARBOR, Fla., November 27, 2018 (Newswire.com) - American Vascular Associates (AVA), a national leader in the development, operational oversite and revenue cycle management of Vascular Centers recently appointed Dr. Eric Dippel, MD as it's Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Dippel has been a part of the American Vascular family for almost 2 years where he is the founder of the Vascular Institute of the Midwest. In his role, he will work closely with the medical staff at AVA's network of community-based Office-Based Cath-Labs (OBLs). Moreover, he will work alongside the AVA executive staff and directing the existing and emerging vascular centers toward constant improvement in patient care.
Dr. Dippel received his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University and earned his Medical Doctorate degree from the University of Iowa; where he also was a resident in Internal Medicine. He then completed his Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Kansas and methodically progressed to Interventional Cardiology and Endovascular Fellowship at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Dippel has a wealth of hands-on experience and is a nationally respected speaker on the diagnosis and treatment of Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) and other vascular diseases.
