Author: Alicia Garey worked in television as assistant to a literary agent as well as in television production. After attending the design program at UCLA she made the transition to her second career, designing interiors. Alicia is the owner of AG Designs. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011, began her journey to wellness and became a blog contributor for the Huffington Post, chronicling her experience and insights. She lives in California with her husband and their two children.
