First Global Whitepaper on PowerWomen in FinTech released

Canada hosted its first conference on FinTech and Banking Innovation on 3rd June in Vancouver, BC. The Digital Finance 2015 conference also released a ‘Whitepaper on PowerWomen in FinTech’, the world’s first study highlighting powerful and impactful women in emerging technologies for financial services from around the world.

Anne Boden, CEO of Starling Bank has been named in the whitepaper as one of the PowerWomen in FinTech. Starling Bank is a smart bank built for the 21st century. It is a new type of bank created to serve self-directed customers who no longer want a bank with branches, antiquated processes and technology. Anne Boden founded Starling Bank in January 2014 after leaving Allied Irish Banks Plc where she was Chief Operating Officer.
