Amnis adds Tim Escudier to its board

The specialist healthcare quality, innovation and productivity improvement enabler, Amnis, has strengthened its board's healthcare expertise by adding Tim Escudier as an advisor to the board.

Apart from advising the Amnis board, Escudier is a non-executive director of The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust, a 489-bed District General Hospital in Harlow, Essex, providing a range of acute and specialist services to a local population of some 258,000 people. Escudier has just finished a four month spell as the Interim Chair at the Trust.

Before that, he was a Commissioner for the Disability Rights Commission prior to its merger into the Equality and Human Rights Commission in October 2007.

His most recent executive role in the private sector was as Managing Director, Europe, Middle East and Africa for Fujitsu services, a Japanese information technology company. There, he also served as a non-executive director on the boards of Fujitsu Australia, Fujitsu North America, and Fujitsu Asia.

Escudier was Vice Chairman of Zensar Technologies, a Mumbai listed information technology company, from 2002 to 2006. He brings his extensive leadership experience in global roles across a number of industries to Amnis, as well as his contemporary experience of the healthcare economy.

Commenting on his appointment to the Amnis board, Tim Escudier said: "I'm excited to be joining the Amnis board at this stage of its development. For some time, I have been impressed by Amnis' extensive knowledge and skills, along with the professionalism with which its consultants work with clients to enable them to improve the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of their operations."

Amnis' Managing Director, Mark Eaton, commented: "Tim has considerable experience of senior leadership and business transformation in the private sector and, more recently, he has been bringing this experience to the public sector, including the healthcare industry. As Amnis continues to expand its operations in the healthcare sector, we have recognised the need to increase the depth of knowledge and experience of this sector among our management team - hence Tim's appointment.

"His advice and guidance will help Amnis to continue its impressive growth, which has seen the company's annual turnover rise by 60 per cent and gross profit rise by some 15 per cent in the past year - with the strongest growth coming in its training and transformational change support areas," Eaton added.
