American Short Film Awards Announce 2015 Winners
LOS ANGELES, January 6, 2016 (Newswire.com) - The American Short Film Awards have announced the winning short films from 2015.
The awards are given in 8 different categories, including Best Short Film, Best Short Documentary, Best Experimental Short Film.
The winner as the best short film of 2015 was "Notes on Blindness". Directed by Pete Middleton and James Spinney, the semi-documentary chronicles writer John Hull's experiences going blind. The semi-documentary is based on Hull's audio diaries from the 1980s.
Other 2015 winners include "Ballad of the Homeless" as best animated short, "Teeth" as the best experimental short, and "Solemates" as the best ultra short.
