Ambergreen shortlisted for online excellence in travel sector

Ambergreen, the pioneering digital marketing agency, has been selected as a finalist in the prestigious Travolution Awards 2009 for its work with Cruise Thomas Cook.

The Edinburgh-based company is among the finalists vying to win the award for Best Use of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).

This shortlisting follows a written submission and a live pitch to the Travolution judges in London.

Ambergreen is highly experienced in the travel sector having won awards for its work with MyTravel and developing cutting-edge campaigns for Thomas Cook and its affiliates.

Tino Nombro, Ambergreen's Managing Director, hopes that the agency will be able to add another award to its trophy cabinet at the ceremony on 29 September.

He said: "This year has seen the highest number of entries to the Travolution Awards ever so it's a great achievement to be a finalist and we're all incredibly pleased.

The 2009 awards are being judged by a team of specialists and set the benchmark for success in the online travel industry. Past winners have included big-hitters Teletext Holidays and STA Travel.
