Aluminess Products, Inc. Launches First Web Redesign Since 2006 With Sequent Creative
With the help of web design firm, Sequent Creative, aluminum product manufacturer Aluminess Products, Inc. launched its updated website on July 19, 2013 complete with a new ecommerce platform and new navigation structure.
Online, August 27, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Web design firm, Sequent Creative helped launch the new website of aluminum products manufacturer, Aluminess Products, Inc., on July 19, 2013 with an updated navigation structure and virtual online storefront.
After 12 successful years of business, Aluminess tasked Sequent with adding ecommerce functionality, moving the existing website to an easy-to-use content management system (CMS), modernizing aesthetics and implementing a new menu and navigation structure.
The new design showcases the full catalog of Aluminess products for users to purchase online all while utilizing best practices to maximize search engine optimization (SEO). Sequent selected Wordpress as the new CMS because of its stability, ease of use and ability to accommodate technical customizations.
To build the online store, Sequent created over 100 individual product pages and accessories. Each item is controlled through a centralized module built with the WP-ecommerce WordPress plugin to make it easy for the Aluminess staff to change prices and add new products in the future.
The final step was a custom-built expanded menu structure, which visitors can use to search for products by make, model and year of vehicle with one or two clicks.
