(Raleigh, NC)- University Dining announces its annual All Carolinas' Meal on Wednesday, Sept. 8 from 4:30 to 8 p.m. in Fountain, Clark, and Case Dining Halls. The meal is a celebration of locally grown products from all over the Carolinas, featuring products from Allen Foods, Brookwood Farms, Burch Farms, NC State Dairy, Sara Lee, and many more.

Each year, students flock to the dining halls to enjoy regional favorites and to support locally produced foods. This year's menu offers BBQ pork, fried NC flounder, carved turkey breast, and baked BBQ chicken breast; vegan and vegetarian options include sweet potato pilaf and ratatouille; side items include baby redskins, collard greens with ham hocks, green beans, cole slaw, potato salad, and hush puppies; soup options are Brunswick stew and locally grown tomato basil soup; dessert features an assortment of fine cakes, Howling Cow Ice Cream™, Sweet Potato Pie, Pecan Pie, and fresh apples or peaches.

"Featuring locally produced foods at this annual event allows students to sample a variety of southern favorites and to learn more about foods produced in our state," said Jennifer Gilmore, marketing/communications manager for University Dining. "We are proud to partner with a variety of farms and businesses in the area to give students this opportunity."

Students and patrons can use a meal plan, pay $10 on their AllCampus account or $10.50 in cash or debit. To learn more about University Dining, go to www.ncsudining.com.
