Aligned Assets Recruit New Support and Development Staff
Online, June 4, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Due to continued growth, gazetteer specialists Aligned Assets have expanded their software development and support teams with three new members of staff.
This growth has come through their expansion primarily in the emergency services market that has seen them gain numerous new AddressBase Premium-supplied fire and rescue services, police forces and ambulance services, whilst still continuing to grow their presence in local authorities and the private sector.
It shows a commitment to providing only the very best in software development and after sales support, the combination of which sees them widely recognised as the premier supply of gazetteer and AddressBase software.
The first to join the team was Shane Blank whose previous role was the provision of 1st and 2nd line support for Console Australia, one of the leading Real Estate Sales and Property Management software solutions in Australasia. His role with Aligned Assets will be to complement the existing development team by working on bug fixes and future enhancements.
Also joining is Pradeep Lalung, an ISEB Qualified Quality Analyst with previous experience working as a Senior Test Analyst, Software Automation Test Engineer and Project co-ordinator. Pradeep's role at Aligned Assets will mainly see him automate the testing of Symphony products and assist the QA Team to perform manual testing as and when required.
The most recent recruit is Chris Couchman who after graduating with a BSc in GIS and Remote Sensing and an MSc in Environmental Hazards and GIS, worked for 4.5 years at Birmingham City Council supporting their GIS/LLPG applications. Chris will be working as a Professional Services Consultant, managing and implementing new projects for Aligned Assets clients.
Speaking of the new appointments, Managing Director of Aligned Assets Andy Hird said, "I'm delighted to be able to welcome Shane, Pradeep and Chris to the team. We've always believed that offering excellent customer service and support is of equal importance to the software itself and these appointments reinforce that commitment."
