Alice McAuliffe's New Book "The Isle of Legends" Is a Fantastical Tale of Shipwrecks, Seemingly Mythical Beasts, and a Omnipotent Doctor Who Is Harboring a Dark Secret

Newest publication "The Isle of Legends" from Fulton Books author Alice McAuliffe finds a group of shipwrecked people washed up on the shore of a ready to open resort where things are definitely not as them seem.

Alice McAuliffe, a Bridgewater State University graduate, has completed her most recent book “The Isle of Legends”:  a surprising and deadly tale of shipwreck and a zoo of genetically altered animals brought together by fate, resulting in a race against time for the lives of all involved.

Published by Fulton Books, Alice McAuliffe’s book begins with a group of ship wrecked people, lucky enough to find themselves washed up on a beach.  But this is no ordinary beach, it is the Isle of Legends, a ready to open resort with a zoo of animals genetically altered to resemble mythical beasts. While some of the castaways embrace their good fortune and indulge in the luxuries of the resort, others are skeptical of the excess around them and of the dangers of tampering with nature.

When a teen named Sally finds a half human, half cat hybrid, these fears begin to have a name. After naming the hybrid Johnny, Sally starts teaching him about the civilized world, raising the question, what makes man truly human and deserving of his place in nature. As Sally and Johnny become friends, she starts to suspect that the resort’s owner, Dr. Peccazillo, has lied about his zoo animals and may be hiding even darker secrets hidden from the group.
