Advanced Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine and North Cypress Medical Center Provide Free Health Physicals for Local Middle School & High School Athletes

Cypress, Texas, April 21, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Advanced Orthopaedics has participated in providing free physicals for the past few years.  This year we plan to provide over 1500 free physicals to local Cy-Fair students.  Student athletes are required to have a pre-participation physical exam, which includes health history, height, weight, blood pressure, musculoskeletal evaluation, and a brief station based physical exam.  The all-day event, on April 30, 2016 and May 4, 2016, will bring student athletes to Cy-Ranch & Cy-Falls High Schools where they will see Orthopaedic specialist from Advanced Orthopaedics & physicians from the North Cypress Family of doctors.  The physical exams are performed to ensure the students are able & ready to participate in the sports of their choice for the 2016-2017 school year. 

Advanced Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine also provides the “Team Doctor” and North Cypress Sports Medicine provides certified althetic trainers for Cy-Ranch High School & Cy-Falls High school in the Cy-Fair School district.  Advanced Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine has offices in Tomball, Cypress, & The newly developed Towne Lake area. 

Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine offers a community outreach program. The mission of this program is to offer free educational seminarsand workshops in the community that we serve. Topics have included mechanism of injury, types of injuries, preventive measures, and treatment options.
