Actress Patricia Raven Nominated for a 2010 Young Artist Award
Online, April 5, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Nominated in the category "Best Performance in a TV Movie, Miniseries or Special" for her performance in Dear Harvard, this is the first time Raven is nominated for a Young Artist Award. Joining her are fellow nominees Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez and Tori Barban.
On being nominated, the young actress says "I feel pretty happy about it- the word happy doesn't even describe how happy I am. I don't actually think there is a word that exists for how happy I am."
Dear Harvard follows the life of Honor Caldwell, a privileged Manhattan teenager whose life takes a drastic turn after her father is charged with securities fraud. Friends abandon her, her mother falls apart and the IRS freezes her families assets, transforming her from socially elite to scholarship student overnight. Raven plays the part of "Lucy" Honors sassy, sharp tongued little sister.
The 31st Annual Young Artist Awards will take place April 11th, 2010 at the Beverly Garland in Studio City, CA. For more information on the awards ceremony, visit http://youngartistawards.org.
