Actor Johnny Depp Retains Ms. Laura Zayas as Spanish Instructor for Pancho Villa

Online, December 3, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Actor Johnny Depp and director Emir Kusturica will have to learn Spanish for an upcoming biopic on Mexican revolutionary leader Pancho Villa.

It will begin shooting this new project starring Depp and Mexican actress Salma Hayek in 2011 and it is scheduled for release a year later.

The film will be an adaptation of James Baker's 1996 book The Friends of Pancho Villa

Ms. Laura Zayas was born in Puerto Rico. An enthusiastic academic, she currently holds two Bachelor Degrees; one in International Relations and the other in French, both from Tufts University.

She also holds two Master's Degrees; one in Education of Foreign Languages from UCLA, and the other in Spanish Literature and Linguistics from Cal State, Fullerton.
