AccuTemp Mechanical is taking over another unit at 5732 95th Street in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Previously, AccuTemp – a Reedy Industries portfolio company – occupied just one office suite at the location. The expansion comes at a time of growth for AccuTemp, an HVAC and mechanical services company that primarily works in large manufacturing and industrial plants as well as schools, hospitals, and government facilities.

“AccuTemp is growing at a very impressive rate,” says Jack Deichl, President of Reedy Industries’ mechanical services group. “Ben’s been an exceptional leader for our Wisconsin business. He’s doubled his team of technicians over the last three years, and it’s great to have more space for him to continue to grow.”

AccuTemp has grown 50% over the last three years, adding eight technicians and two office personnel. AccuTemp has also added a plumbing division this year, expanding their service offerings beyond traditional mechanical services.

“I’m so glad we’ve added more space for our team,” says Ben Rader, General Manager of AccuTemp. “As part of the expansion, we have added a full-size lunchroom that creates a space for our employees to relax.” Rader took over the General Manager role in January 2014, but he was no stranger to the organization. Rader started working for AccuTemp in 2008, working his way from a service technician to leading the AccuTemp team. “My team works very hard to take care of our customers,” continues Rader. “I’m happy to create this additional space for them to be more comfortable at work.”

AccuTemp was founded in 1996 and acquired by Reedy Industries in 2001 as an effort to expand their service offerings in southern Wisconsin. AccuTemp and a group of other HVAC and mechanical companies constitute Reedy’s primary business. Reedy Industries currently operates out of Glenview, IL and overseas companies in Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio, and Missouri. CEO Bill Reedy is the third generation of the Reedy family to helm the organization.

“AccuTemp’s expansion is one of several for us this year,” says Bill Reedy. “Ben Rader and his team of skilled HVAC and mechanical service technicians are the best in Wisconsin, and I’m excited to watch them grow.”
