Accuhealth Now Offering Revenue Cycle Management Service to All Clients

Dedicated Team of Billers to Implement RCM to Streamline Billing Requirements for Remote Patient Monitoring

Accuhealth today announced the implementation of a new revenue cycle management (RCM) service to respond to clinics' increased requests for assistance with billing. While Accuhealth automates claims for most of its clinics with a simplified billing process, those clinics that do not have the staff or integration to go through denials, preauthorizations, and utilization review can now take advantage of RCM. Accuhealth foresees a significant reduction in the hours of clinical staff or in-house billers required for successful billing that many clinics currently face.

Due to global staffing shortages at the clinic level, it has become increasingly difficult for billing companies to keep up with the billing requirements for remote patient monitoring (RPM). Despite automation for a majority of its claims, Accuhealth learned that some of its clinics don't have the capability to effectively process all of their claims. The new RCM offering completes Accuhealth's circle of care; clinics that cannot integrate or use traditional electronic health records (EHR) can now be assisted by a dedicated team of billers and utilize Accuhealth's concierge-level RCM for claims, audits, and denials.

Accuhealth CEO Stephen Samson commented, "Accuhealth and remote patient monitoring have significantly advanced and boosted the success of clinics around the country, but the financial repercussions of the pandemic have hit clinics hard, and many are struggling to maintain a complete, stable staff for billing and revenue cycle management operations. I am pleased that we can now implement a solution to meet the present-day needs of healthcare providers. Accuhealth's RCM service will increase cash flow, drive continued improvement in clinics' financial results, and reduce the burden on staff. Providers will see both improved care load management and an immediate impact on their business."

Accuhealth has already rolled out the RCM service to many clients with tremendous success. To date, clients have responded positively and reported streamlined operations, increased revenue, and a refreshed focus on providing excellent patient care.
