Oil Industry Distress, Consumer Bankruptcy Trends and Results of Individual Chapter 11 Study Among the Topics to Be Addressed at ABI's 34th Annual Spring Meeting in April

​The American Bankruptcy Institute's (ABI) 34th Annual Spring Meeting is set to take place April 14-17, at the JW Marriott in Washington, D.C. In addition to timely concurrent sessions, ABI’s largest conference tailors four concurrent workshops that include programs for attorneys in large and small commercial cases, a track for professional development and a track dealing solely with consumer issues. The conference will feature the 20th Annual Great Debates, which will look at unsecured creditor issues, fraud and § 363 procedures, and nine committee educational sessions. Featured keynotes include Chris Wallace, award-winning journalist and host of “Fox News Sunday,” and a special live edition of Bloomberg Law’s “Eye on Bankruptcy” program. In addition, bankruptcy judges will delve into recent Supreme Court decisions in a highly anticipated session.  Up to 16.25/19.5 hours of CLE/CPE are available, along with ethics credit totaling 3.75/4 hours.
