AAA Scholarship Foundation Has Available 2017-18 Private School Scholarships for Florida K-12 Low-Income and Foster Students

Corporate donor funding is supporting extended scholarship funding for this current school year

AAA Scholarship Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides private school tax credit scholarships to students who are economically disadvantaged and students with disabilities, recently received corporate donor funding to extend this year’s scholarship funding. Scholarships are available to assist low-income and foster students attending an eligible kindergarten through grade 12 in a Florida private school of their parent's choice this school year (2017-2018).

Scholarships are offered from $3,210 to $7,004 per student depending on household income and the student’s grade level. Applications are available until March 30, 2018.

“We are grateful for the generous donor who helped make these scholarships possible,” says Kim Dyson, president and CEO of AAA Scholarship Foundation. “AAA Scholarship Foundation works to ensure that K-12 students with economic, housing, physical and/or intellectual disadvantages are able to access the educational setting that best fits their unique learning needs. Our donors help to ensure that these students have access to the quality education they need.”

Florida students qualify for a scholarship if they meet the following conditions: they are enrolled in K-12; are at least five years old but not more than 22 years old on Sept. 1, 2017; and families have a household income at or below 250 percent of federal poverty or students have been placed in foster or out-of-home care.

The AAA Scholarship Foundation team has invested more than 15 years to passionately advocating for the under-served, under-represented and academically disadvantaged members of the communities in which they serve. They have scholarship programs in Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Nevada and Pennsylvania.
