80's NYC Mixtape Dj Returns after 15 years

Victor "Super V" Valente is back on the wheels of steel after 15 years to host his own internet radio mix show called "Live From The Basement" on blog talk radio.

Though most may not call him "Super V." any more, former 80's mixtape Dj, now Musician & recording artist Victor Valente is back on the wheels of steel after 15 years to host his own internet radio mix show called "Live From The Basement" on blog talk radio.

Since disapearing from the hip hop scene in 1995, Victor Valente resurfaced in the underground hip hop Jazz scene as a saxophonist with his 2005 release "Off The Canvas" which featured hip hop jazz gems like "Surviving with the time", "Blue Funk" & his own rendition of Mc Lyte's 1989 classic "Cappuccino".

During the early 90's Victor's "Super V." mixtapes were sold at almost every tape spot through-out New York City beside other tape kings such as Ron G, S&S, Craig G, Kid Capri & Brucie B to name a few.

Today, Victor Valente works as a music publisher, licensing his material for radio & television broadcasting under his own label (Takeluma Recordings / Victor Valente Publishing).

Valente's upcoming radio show (Live From The Basement) is set to debut October 27th @ 3pm eastern time featuring Valente on the 1's & 2's cutting and mixing Old school to now school Funk, soul & Hip Hop.
