6th Annual Thunder By The Canyon To Benefit Local Grief Support Group

North South Cycles of Fort Payne, Alabama announced that this year's Thunder By The Canyon Benefit Motorcycle Rally and Concert is set for August 21,2010. The DeKalb County Grief Support Group is the cause for this years fund raising event.
The Rally will include a Poker Run along the stretch of road known to locals as the Viper, the winding canyon road that runs along the top of Little River Canyon in the Little River Canyon Wildlife Preserve. It will also offer a Bike show, vendors, and a concert, with proceeds being donated to the DeKalb Co. Grief Support, a division of Bonita Eileen's Ministry. Ms Eileen will also be on hand to perform during the multi band concert.
Other bands scheduled to appear include Kelli Johnson, Still Kickin, Nuthin Fancy, The Muddy Water Band, Tiffanie Miller and Shadow Academy.
Kathy and Brian Johnson, owners of North South Cycles have been hosting the Thunder By The Canyon Rallies for 6 years, and every year they find a worth while cause to be the recipient of the proceeds raised.

General Admission is $10. Poker Run is $15 per bike and first bike out at 9am. This is an all day outdoor event so bring your lawn chairs and sunscreen with you. This is an open event, everyone is welcome to attend.
