613 MED Brings Joy to an Uncertain Thanksgiving

Turkeys, masks, and sanitizer help prepare families in need for a Thanksgiving none of us have ever seen before.

613 MED Turkey Drive

It was all smiles last Thursday when 613 MED, in partnership with the Bal Harbour Police Legacy Foundation, gave away Thanksgiving turkeys, masks, and sanitizer to families in need. The donations will go a long way in bringing some comfort during a very uncertain holiday season due to the coronavirus.

"This is the third time we've partnered with the BHP Legacy Foundation," said 613 MED Founder and CEO, Jack Itzkowitz. "They're always looking to offer and extend help to families in need, and we're very happy to be a part of it."

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 613 MED has prioritized giving back to the community. Countless schools, organizations, and everyday citizens have received tens of thousands of units of essential personal protective equipment (PPE), including masks, sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, gloves, and yes, now turkeys!

Although reports of an imminent effective vaccine are promising, 141,034 new coronavirus cases were reported yesterday. As we head into the winter months, 613 MED asks first and foremost that you continue to wear a mask and practice social distancing, and also to please reach out if you or anyone you know need assistance in obtaining essential PPE.
