4K TV Reviews Website Is Now Live
Online, May 10, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Sony made history by being the first electronics manufacturer to introduce the next generation televisions to the market. The introduction of yet another television format probably doesn't sound much like a historical event, if even news worthy to anyone other than the hopelessly geeky. However 2013 is the year we're witnessing the total demise of 35mm film, and welcome Ultra High-Definition 4K televisions and cinemas.
For anyone not familiar with what are soon to be the only televisions to have, the term 4K refers to the horizontal resolution, rather than the vertical. All are in the order of 4,000 pixels, thus the name, 4K TV. At 4000 resolution, twice what was currently available, they deliver clear cut details of all objects on the screen, both in the foreground and the background. It's better than current HDTV and 3D, and in fact many 4K TVs will come equipped with 3D.
Still a little confused? Well fortunately the folks at 4KTVReviews.org foresaw that the introduction of an entertainment standard far ahead of anything on the market was going to confuse consumers. By the time the first 4k TV was in stores, they were live online to answer your questions, review 4K TV products, and compare pricing technical specs and other features of every 4K TV released.
In time, as more 4K TVs are released they will feature more reviews and will keep all reviews current and up-to-date in the meantime. Each new review will feature a score for 5 areas. These areas include: picture quality, price, style and look, sound and features.
