1932 Pierce Arrow V12 LeBaron body current

One of the most fantastic barn finds of the 21st Century will be offered at the Worldwide Auction on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017. Bid in person or bid on the phone. Pre-register through 800-990-6789 or www.worldwideauctioneers.com.

The 1932 Pierce Arrow V12 Custom body by LeBaron on a long wheel base, padded top with Landau irons was Pierce Arrow's salon show car for the 1932 New York Auto Show. This is a one off car.

This is a rare opportunity to have a one-off New York auto show car that has been preserved since 1968 as a barn find. The new buyer can finish the overhaul and install the motor and drive as a survivor or do a full restoration and have a never before seen (since 1968) Pebble Beach show winner. The rarest of the rare!

This fabulous barn find was discovered in 2016 where the previous owner had parked it in 1968, in a wooden barn with a wooden floor.

This car is in Brewster Green (Emerald Green), bright yellow wheels and black wall tires. Most of the show cars of that time period were done with white walls.  The car has a period correct radio installed and the radio was most likely installed by a Pierce-Arrow dealership. It also comes with side mount wheels, side mount tire covers and side mount mirrors.

The 1932 V12 Pierce Arrows have many unique one year features such as carburetors and the side mount covers for the spare tires. The car is equipped with the original side mount mirrors (which are impossible to get) and period correct working radio.

The engine was stuck and has been completely disassembled and is out of the car. The engine is disassembled and ready for overhaul.

In addition to 1932 New York auto show history, the ownership has been searched back to the 1950s along with 1950s photos of the car.
