19 Kids And Counting Star Jessa Duggar Married Ben Seewald Over The Weekend
Las Vegas, NV, November 5, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Jessa Duggar of the famous reality TV show 19 Kids and Counting got married over the weekend to 19-year-old Ben Seewald. This makes her the third of the 19 Duggar kids to get married.
She wanted a simple wedding so they served ice cream sundaes in replace of a wedding cake. The bride admitted that her first kiss with Ben was after their marriage vows.
All of her sisters were either bridesmaids or flower girls in the wedding. 20-year-old sister Jinger filled the role as maid of honor. The groomsmen included a few of Jessa’s sisters along with some of his close friends and family members.
Seewald’s aunt sang Jessa’s favorite song “Love Never Fails” during the ceremony.
The couple got engaged in August 2013 after having dated for just under a year. The bride’s father Jim Bob Duggar claimed that Ben was the first boy to court his daughter. Their relationship consisted of chaperoned dates and side hugs prior to the wedding day.
The couple got married at the First Baptist Church located in Bentonville, Arkansas. They exchanged vows in front of over 1,000 guests consisting of their closest friends and family. The wedding is set to air on the reality show next season.
The newlyweds have stated that they plan to have a big family.
