12 Year-Old Kid Entrepreneur Announces Youth Entrepreneurship Week Events

May 14 - 21 events are planned across the nation to support and inspire young entrepreneurs

WHAT: Keno Lucas II Co-Founder of The KENO (Kid Entrepreneurs Need Opportunities) Micro-Fund announced that the First Annual Spring Youth Entrepreneurship Week will take place from May 14 - May 21, 2011. Lucas and other youth have planned events throughout the week to help promote entrepreneurship.

WHEN: May 14 - 21, 2011 is Youth Entrepreneurship Week. Below are details of specific events and activities sponsored by The KENO Micro-Fund.

• May 14, 2011- Community Service Highway Cleanup: The clean up location is State Route 41 Northside Drive, between Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive and Castleberry near the Atlanta University Center from 3pm - 5pm.

• May 18, 2011 - Deadline for the Change the World For Good Business Idea Competition - Young entrepreneurs can download the application from http://www.kenofund.com/CHALLENGE.doc and submit their response by email. The top 5 bright ideas will be recognized during the Youth Entrepreneurship Week Boot Camp and Virtual Panel held on May 21, 2011 in Atlanta, GA. The winning idea will receive full tuition to The KENO Business Boot Camp in the summer of 2011.

• May 21, 2011 - Business Boot Camp where young entrepreneurs will receive an intense crash course in starting and growing a successful business. From 1pm - 4pm at The Villages at Carver Family YMCA 1600 Pryor Road, SW Atlanta, Georgia 30315.
