04.25.2011 - Feldenkrais Release
Online, April 25, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Kirkland, WA: Seattle Eastside Feldenkrais® Training (SEFT) invites new students to learn and participate in an introductory class aimed at improving health, wellness and the mind-body connection on April 29-30, 2011.
30-year Feldenkrais instructors, and SEFT founders Angel Di Benedetto and Richard Corbeil, will be leading the first of three two-day introductory classes on April 29th and 30th in Kirkland, WA. Angel explains that students can expect a method of training that is experiential rather than academic. "Students will understand the relationship between brain plasticity, healing, motor learning and human movement based on their own process and discovery. The training will expand students' personal and professional potential by fostering new connections internally and with others."
Anna Lisa Bond is a Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner who discovered the Feldenkrais training with SEFT after a back injury. "I tried everything else and nothing was changing the quality of my life," Anna said. "I would be without pain temporarily and then it would come back. After a severe pain relapse, I was introduced to Angel and Richard. Within one session I had more mobility and flexibility than I had experienced in years. I am now able to get myself out of any pain. It is a genuine privilege to share the benefits of SEFT's Feldenkrais training with my clients and students.
"The Feldenkrais movements made sense to me in terms of changing how I 'move through life,'" says Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner John Cameron. "I was finally willing to explore a more comfortable way to be in the world that I was sometimes so at odds with. With Angel and Richard's support, I truly rediscovered passion in my life.
What once was a struggle to survive has turned into an opportunity to thrive. My ongoing growth is directly connected to my continuing experience as a new practitioner.
"Seattle Eastside Feldenkrais Training changed so much for me," Cameron goes on to say. "I knew nothing about the program until the first day and went in with blind faith. How richly I've been rewarded for taking that chance!"
