New Timesaver From Addinsoft: Automating Your Statistical Routines

Addinsoft gives data analysts a chance to reduce their time-consuming routine tasks with its new version of XLSTAT. New programming features have been added. You can now save and reuse settings and generate VBA code to automate XLSTAT analyses.

With its new release of XLSTAT, Addinsoft gives data analysts a chance to reduce the time they spend on routine tasks. The 2011.1 version of Addinsoft's statistical package was released the 10th of January. It comes with new features like contribution biplots in correspondence analysis, but most important new programming features. You can now effortlessly save and reuse dialog box settings, and generate VBA code to automate XLSTAT analyses.

"Data analysts spend too much time setting up analyses where they should get enough time to interpret their results. This release brings a huge time saver to our users so that they can focus on what is really at stake: getting the most of their data. We offer them the opportunity to simply push a button and get the outputs automatically," says Thierry Fahmy, CEO and Founder of Addinsoft.

The use of the advanced programming features are simplified as the user just set up his analysis as well as the results to be generated and click a button to save those parameters. The next time he loads the settings, the results are automatically computed.

To go even further in the automation process you can generate Visual Basic (VBA) codes from XLSTAT analyses effortlessly and fully automatize your routine analysis using VBA code and XLSTAT analytical tools.

"The best is that these new functionalities are included in the basic package," Fahmy continues.

Other new features are also included in this release. XLSTAT-Life adds two functionalities to its catalogue: Nelson-Aalen analysis and cumulative Incidence. In addition XLSTAT-MX penalty analysis now allows working on 1-5, 1-7 or 1-9 just-about-right (JAR) scales.
