New Animation Studio Aims at Hunter Safety Awareness for Youth

Deerspace.com launches new Animation Studio to educate young hunters about safety and etiquettes of the sport.

Deerspace.com announces the launch of its new Animation Studio, Deerspace Toons, which is producing a series of Television & Internet Public Service Announcements highlighting basic safety tips in an effort to increase safe hunting & fishing practices among youth.

"Our cartoons are not only fun to watch, they could also save your life," says John Jackson, Founder of Deerspace.com. "At Deerspace.com, we are passionate about sharing the heritage of hunting and fishing with the next generation, but we also believe that it is tremendously important for children to understand the safety rules and etiquettes of the sport."

"Hunter Ed Adventures" is based on the Deerspace characters, Hunter Ed and Buddy Buck, as featured in two educational coloring books currently being distributed by the Indiana Hunter Education Association.

Since its launch earlier this year, Deerspace Toons has already released over twenty "Hunter Ed Adventures" cartoons which can be viewed on YouTube and Facebook. The company is currently in talks with television broadcasters in the US and Canada and projects that the PSA's will begin airing fall 2011.

"Spending time together in the woods is a great way for parents and kids to bond and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of God's creation without the distractions of cell phones and video games," adds Jackson. "Hunting and fishing teach children to develop new skills, but even more importantly, it promotes patience, respect, sportsmanship, and honesty. We have launched Deerspace Toons to help parents instill these ethics into their young hunters."
