Neonatal Calculator is an easy-to-use calculator - type the weight of the patient and all the results will be there to see. Length of the umbilical lines, fluid and electrolyte requirements, blood product volumes and much more all calculated for the user in one easy step.
This app has been designed by doctors who work in neonates so we understand what the needs of neonatal staff are.
It is an essential tool for doctors, nurses and neonatal transfer teams.

The unique neonatal app was created by Dr Tessa Davis, a neonatal registrar who trained in the UK and practices in Australia, and Dr Ed Wallitt, a UK doctor and IT consultant.
Dr Davis said "Because the app has been designed by actual doctors who work in neonates, it is a useful clinical tool with essential calculations. We know from experience what it's like looking after neonates so we made the app as practical and user-friendly as possible."
