Nagarjuna Construction Company (NCC) engaged to build the CEWS Integrated Mega Township Project at Tellapur

Cyber Employees Welfare Society (CEWS) a society formed by IT employees working in Hyderabad and abroad has engaged Nagarjuna Construction Company (NCC) to build its Rs.100 Crore Integrated Township spread over 6.4 Acres, in Tellapur, Hyderabad.

Speaking to reporters after the signing the construction contract with NCC, the Secretary of CEWS, Mr. V Ramkumar expressed that the project is the largest such projects being developed by buyers for themselves, at much less price than the market rate.

"CEWS project at just Rs.2100/sft with 2 free covered car parks and no extras, demonstrates the fact that "affordable housing" need not be of average quality. NCC will be building a showcase property with remarkable quality and extensive amenities with the Amenity Block of more than 30000 sft, towering over 9 floors. With giant sized indoor swimming pool, two tennis courts, one of the largest AC Gyms and restaurant etc, the Club House will be a talking point in Hyderabad. The project has only corner flats with 10 towers of 10 floors; each tower having 4 flats per floor." Said Mr. Ram Kumar.

Dwelling on the genesis of the Project Mr. Ramkumar said; "This project would not have been possible without the untiring work Exclusive Ventures -Hyderabad who developed the project concept and brought-in more than 250 members into the Project"

"Our members can be assured of getting world class apartments at half the market price of such properties in Hyderabad. The construction will be completed by September 2011 and NCC will compensate CEWS for each months' delay"

The indomitable spirit and commitment of CEWS members from across the world has to be complimented. They have made the impossible, possible, said Mr. Ramkumar.

The CEWS project was conceived in June 2007 . The bookings commenced in October 2007 after 6.4 Acres was identified in Tellapur, Hyderabad. The CEWS members came together to pool money to buy land. The Member's Society engaged one of the leading Architect firms in Hyderabad, Ms. Akshya Infra to develop the project design and architecture. The project is built on actual cost basis. The members pay only the cost incurred for land, design, approval and construction, making this one of the best examples of collective power of like minded buyers who came together, to beat the market price by miles.
