SPEAKERS
Bob DanaBob Dana, Tripshare
Bob brings his experience in consumer travel, strategy, capital raising and leadership to his role at Tripshare. Before co-founding Tripshare, he was Employee #1, CFO, and wrote the business plan for Virgin America, the award-winning startup airline. He was also a Managing Director in the technology investment banking group at Piper Jaffray and he led the North American aviation investment banking practice for Credit Suisse First Boston. Bob is a big fan of Winston Churchill, who must have launched a tech startup or two because he said: "Success is not final; failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts."

Shaan PuriShaan Puri, the Monkey Inferno
Fresh off of founding two award-winning (and money losing) ventures, Shaan joined The Monkey Inferno as product manager and and worked his way up to become CEO of the 22 person idea lab by the age of 24. With startup experiences ranging from Sushi restaurants, to bio-tech, and now software - Shaan enjoys the thrill of turning nothing into something.

DaveDave Hunkins, Sumry
David trained as a mathematician but was siphoned out of academia by the dot-com boom, first commuting to the Bay Area in 1995 before finally moving to San Francisco in 1998. He retired from corporate product management in 2007 to start making things--and hasn't looked back…creating web services like the Stencilizer and Goloco, fashion accessories like the Sidewinder and the Shanti, mobile apps like Sumry, and even paper punch-out toys for kids. Does that pay all the bills? Not yet: he freelances as a product development strategist. In that capacity, he works with big companies like Visa and Wells Fargo to turn large problems into smaller ones.
