"SID Industrial Design Day Video" is a project developed on the occasion of the international industrial design day, celebrated worldwide each year on June 29th. We accepted the call of ICSID, the international association of industrial design: this year they've suggested a theme which comes back to roots: what is industrial design?

So let's celebrate with "SID Industrial Design Day Video", a compilation of interviews where we answer to ICSID by talking about creative design. In fact, we asked how they apply design and creativity into their lives and what is the best example of creative design for them. SID students and graduates, designers and other personalities (such as the Mayor of Padua and Assaf Wand from Sabi) gave their anwers.
The "switch on" of the video has a symbolic our: 0.00 am Fiji/Wellington time. We really want to participate internationally in the World Industrial Design Day, inviting everybody, everywhere, to celebrate this day!
It's an opportunity to raise awareness and promote creative design and give visibility to SID Pills and Scuola Italiana Design - PST Galileo community in the world.
ABOUT WORLD INDUSTRIAL DESIGN DAY
World Industrial Design Day (WIDD) is observed annually on 29 June in recognition of the profession of industrial design. First declared in 2007 on the occasion of Icsid's 50th anniversary, World Industrial Design Day has been established with the aim of promoting awareness of the profession of industrial design, highlighting the contribution designers and academics have made to the discipline and facilitating collaborations that help improve economic, social, cultural and environmental quality of life throughout the world.
