Interview with Sean Millington - Former CFL Grey Cup MVP

Now in his 40's and in the same shape as he was in his 20's, Host Tammy-Lynn McNabb has a discussion with Sean Millington about how he maintains his health and wellness after pro football.

Sean Millington lead an amazing career in the CFL as a fullback playing for the Edmonton Eskimos, Winnipeg Blue Bombers and 12 years with the BC Lions. Sean suffered a career ending injury when he ruptured his achilles heel.

Life after football took Millington into the health and wellness industry as a personal trainer where being a trainer meant being a psychologist at times. "It's not just getting a person in shape, it's working with their mind as well and I found that very draining at times", says Millington.

Sean dusted off his Commerce Degree from SFU and began practicing in the finance industry as a financial planner/advisor. He currently works with TD Waterhouse, Part of Rickerby Wealth Group.

He is a 2 time Grey Cup Champion; was named Grey Cup MVP in 2000; was inducted into the BC Sports Hall of Fame and most recently stepped into the boxing ring in his 40's. Sean remains in top shape with a regular exercise routine. Tammy-Lynn speaks with Sean about life after football and how he maintains his health and wellness on HealthRadio.FM.
