HottywoodHelps.com Announces Entire School as March Jr. Hottywood Writer of the Month

For the first time ever, HottywoodHelps.com names an entire school, District of Columbia Public School Francis Stevens Education Campus, as its third official March featured Junior Hottywood Writer(s) of the Month.

The school has been named Jr. Hottywood Writer(s) of the month for its celebratory accomplishment of having thirteen articles featured in the newly released book, "I Live Real Close To Where You Used To Live: Kids' Letters to Michelle Obama (and to Sasha, Malia, & Bo)"; a collection of letters written by kids across America to Michelle Obama and her daughters Malia and Sasha, plus a
few tips to their dog, Bo.

Students from Francis Stevens Education Campus were randomly selected to have their letters and artworks featured in the publication as a result of participating in a country-wide writing workshop in conjunction with 826 National, a nonprofit tutoring, writing, and publishing organization that is committed to supporting teachers and publishing student works. The school will host an official book signing to honor and congratulate students; Sarih Anderson, Neshawn Belt, Cameron Butler, Saudia Campbell, Thalia Flores, Desani Grant, Kelsi A. Gross, Melvin Holloway III, Kendra Lowery, Donovan McCoy, and Dayton Woodson for their great achievement.

"It is vital that we encourage projects that build awareness throughout the community, and that our students should be praised for more than just their academic intelligence and prowess," says Thomas Canavan, Francis Stevens Education Campus Out of School Time (OST), Afterschool Program Coordinator.

All persons interested in learning more about the book signing or ordering copies of "I Live Real Close To Where You Used To Live: Kids' Letters to Michelle Obama (and to Sasha, Malia, & Bo)" should contact Francis Stevens Education Campus' main office at (202) 724-4841 or visit http://www.826national.org/826store/366/i-live-real-close-to-where-you-used-to-live-kids-letters-to-michelle-obama.
