Hollywood Filmmaker and Entrepreneur Considering Run for White House

Online, February 29, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Filmmaker and Entrepreneur Stephen Rollins has announced that he has formed an exploratory committee to consider throwing his hat into the ring for the 2012 Presidential Campaign.

Stephen, who comes from a political family background, has served as CEO of Lightning Pictures LLC as well as making headlines with his film "American Identity". In addition to his 23 years in the film industry and many business exploitations, Stephen recently made headlines when he headed a group of investors who attempted to purchase the Atlanta Thrashers of the National Hockey League and keep them from moving to Canada.

"I have a deep love for my country, and I believe there are many things that other candidates are overlooking, including additional ways to support those in need within our own country, such as our military families. It is for this reason why I am considering this" explains Rollins.

From growing gas prices and government spending to the shrinking number of job opportunities and home sales, Stephen's interest in seeking office has grown. "One of the many issues that disturbs me is the billions of dollars that are being give to other countries such as Pakistan, and what are we getting in return?" asked Rollins. " I believe that we should take some of this money and invest it back into our own country. Among the many people who could use this money are some of our military families, who are facing financial difficulties and the risk of losing their homes as we ll as everything they own. These are some things that truly disturb me".

Representatives for Stephen have announced that an official announcement is forthcoming within the coming days as to whether or not Mr. Rollins will officially seek the Office of President of the United States.
