EZE GROUP LAUNCH CHARITABLE FOUNDATION WITH BLUES' HELP

EZE Group has teamed up with Birmingham City FC to launch their new foundation for good causes, and their inaugural fundraising golf day.

The leisure, travel and entertainment specialists are to host their first golf day at the Forest of Arden Golf Club in Solihull on March 14th. And a host of Blues figures, past and present, will be on hand to help with the fundraising effort.

They include manager Chris Hughton, and first teamers Adam Rooney, Jonathan Spector and Colin Doyle.

It's the first event to help the new EZE Group Foundation, which was established earlier this month, and will help good and worthy causes in the UK and close to their European headquarters in Tenerife.

The Foundation will also continue to support the company's chosen charities, which include the NSPCC.

EZE Group's European Sales and Marketing Director Gerald Tiernan said: "We want up to 88 golfers to join us and some well-known Blues faces, such as former captain Michael Johnson and first team coach Paul Trollope.

"And with the likes of EZE Group ambassadors Steve Staunton, Cyrille Regis and Tony Daley playing as well, it should be a great event for supporters of all our local clubs.

"Each team will have either a football legend, or a member of the Blues' first team, so it's a rare chance for local football fans to meet their heroes.

"We hope the day, and the auction and three-course meal which follows, will help us raise a grand sum for good, worthy causes and charity projects in the UK and the Canary Islands."

Places at the golf day are £700 + VAT for a team of four. A range of sponsorship packages is also available. To register your interest, call 0844 557 1445 or email adam.brookes@bcfc.com.

EZE Group allows people to buy credits, which can be used on a wide range of leisure activities, including holidays, spa and city breaks, and entertainments like theatre and restaurant visits.

The company was formed in the USA in 2001 and now has offices throughout North America and Europe.

Their services include helping people who are interested in selling timeshare, and advice for those looking for things to do in Tenerife, or considering holidays in any Canary Island resorts.
