Environmentalist Ajay Jain from Indore has been selected for "World Economic Development Award for Business Excellence 2009". This award is given jointly by Economic development Forum, New Delhi and Indo-Thai Chamber of Commerce, Bangkok.

Environmentalist Ajay Jain from Indore has been selected for "World Economic Development Award for Business Excellence 2009". This award is given jointly by Economic development Forum, New Delhi and Indo-Thai Chamber of Commerce, Bangkok. The award will be presented in Bangkok by Indian Ambassador H.E. Latha Reddy on 31st October at the 21st International Achievers Summit on "Emerging Promoting Partnerships Globally".

The summit shall be attended by eminent personalities, leaders, diplomats, and business delegations form India and other countries.

Ajay Jain has been working with a vision of Clean, Green and Healthy Environment. His company Eco-Pro Environmental Services Indore has been providing consultancy to many National, International organizations and various Urban Local Bodies in field of environment and waste management. He has excelled in the field of Biomedical and municipal waste management.

In the year 2001 he formed company " Hoswin Incinerator Pvt. Ltd." and developed Central India's first Common Biomedical Waste Treatment Facility at Indore and later on developed six other similar facilities in other parts of India. Biomedical waste is very infectious and is a cause for spread many life threatening diseases like HIV, Hepatitities Tetanus etc. There are very few people willing to work in this sector due to the threats of Biomedical waste. Environmentalist Ajay Jain had took it as challenge and business opportunity. Since then he has been working actively to destruct the Biomedical waste so as to ensure that such waste is handled without any adverse effect to human health and environment.

In the region where Ajay Jain has been working, considerable reduction in the spread of infections due to Biomedical waste has been witnessed and dramatic reduction in the number of cases of needle prick to health care workers, municipal workers and rag pickers. Ajay Jain have provided training to more than 2000 health care workers.

Environmentalist Ajay Jain is also known for development of various Low cost technologies in the final of municipal waste management, non recyclable plastics and Biomass Gasifiers.
