EatSmart Products and 2013 Charity of the Month Donations

In 2013, EatSmart Products continued the tradition of making a donation to 12 different worthwhile charities over the course of the year. The charities are selected based on the recommendation of EatSmart fans. This policy will continue into 2014.

Since 2011, EatSmart Products has been committed to donating a portion of their profits each month to a different charity. In 2013, EatSmart selected 12 different charities based on the recommendations of their fans and donated 50 cents for every new Facebook like or Twitter follower earned in a dedicated month. A short post was featured monthly on the EatSmart Blog, outlining the charities mission and giving EatSmart followers the opportunity to donate.

As EatSmart builds on its success as a top rated online retailer of kitchen, bathroom and luggage scales, the tradition of charitable giving will continue into 2014. The introduction of a new travel product, the TravelWise 3 Piece Weekender Packing Cube System, promises to increase both company revenues and charitable donations in the upcoming year. Several Sources Shelters, Ramsey, New Jersey has been selected as the January Charity of the Month for 2014. Several Sources provides help, comfort and information to pregnant teens, unwed mothers and homeless women, the goal being to help them build the best lives possible for themselves and their children.
