Crobo Gears Up for Future Growth with the Acquisition of Three New Specialists

Berlin, 18 March 2014: The Berlin-based games performance marketing specialists crobo (www.crobo.com) make their 40-man team stronger with the addition of three new, yet experienced, employees in the IT, Finance and Personnel departments.

Effective immediately, Ingmar Heinrich - Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Dr. Robert Breitkreuz - Head of Finance, and Peter Wurstner - HR Manager, are a part of the team to help support the growth and globalization of crobo. 2013 was a year of highlights for the Berlin-based, performance marketing company, which saw a revenue growth of more than 1,200% and plans to employee upwards of 75 team members by 2015.

crobo CEO, Matthias Lesch, said the following in regards to the company now employing 46 employees: "In order to make sure that we are ready for the continued growth, it was important for us to create solid structures in key areas within the system, in addition to the operation and distribution. We are very excited to have Ingmar Heinrich, Robert Breitkreuz and Peter Wurstner in the right place as experts in IT, finance and personnel, respectively."

As the new CTO, Ingmar Heinrich is responsible for the technical development and further expansion of the crobo IT infrastructure. Heinrich joined the team from his previous position at Covus Core GmbH. There he was responsible for the IT department, user experience, business intelligence, product management, editorial system and quality assurance of the Covus Group and the other business ventures that belonged to the company. Before that position, he had a variety of jobs as an IT specialist in management positions for Project A Ventures GmbH, Zalando Lounge, My Hammer AG and nugg.ad AG.

Dr. Robert Breitkreuz has taken over the leadership of the Finance and Invoicing Department with his new position as Head of Finance. Before he began at crobo, Breitkreuz built up and strengthened the finance and invoice departments as the Director of Finance for Rocket Internet, specifically for Home 24. He comes to crobo with a number of years' experience with previous held positions at Siemens and PriceWaterhouseCoopers and completed his doctorate at the Institute for Accounting at the University of St. Gallen. As Head of Finance, Breitkreuz and his current team are responsible for the finances and invoicing of the ever-expanding company.

As HR Manager, Peter Wurstner provides support for the ambitious expansion in the personnel department. Wurstner came to crobo from his previous position at 9 Flats GmbH. The learned business manager, with a focus in human resources, economic law and marketing, is responsible for the personnel department.

Thanks to the strong growth of the mobile free-to-play games and the continuous development of client and browser-based online games, crobo ended 2013 more than successfully, with a revenue exceeding 1,200% of the previous year.
