Commerce Bank of Arizona Names Lewis President & CEO
Commerce Bank of Arizona announced today the bank has named John S. Lewis president and CEO responsible for managing the bank's statewide operations.
Online, April 19, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Commerce Bank of Arizona announced today the bank has named John S. Lewis president and CEO responsible for managing the bank's statewide operations. Former Commerce Bank president and CEO, Randall J. Yenerich, will now serve as president and CEO of the bank's holding company, CBOA Financial.

Lewis, an executive with more than 30 years of senior-level business banking experience including 22 years of experience in Arizona, will work from offices in Scottsdale and Tucson. Prior to Commerce Bank, Lewis served in several senior banking positions, including president and CEO of Sunrise Bank of Arizona and chairman and CEO of First Interstate Bank of Arizona.

Lewis also has served in leadership positions with several Phoenix-area professional, civic, and economic development organizations, including past president of the Arizona Bankers Association, past treasurer of the Downtown Phoenix Partnership, and past president of the Phoenix Chamber of Commerce.
Founded in 2002 by Yenerich and a local group of investors, Commerce Bank of Arizona offers a complete line of business and consumer banking services, including a variety of commercial, real estate and mortgage loan products. The bank has offices in Scottsdale, Mesa, Tucson, Green Valley and Tubac. As of December 31, 2011, the bank had $267 million in assets.
