CloverETL 3.1 Meets Growing Market Need For Powerful Data Integration with Enhanced Connectivity and Data Format Support

Javlin continues investment in data integration software with major release of CloverETL 3.1, providing features that solve the growing issue of complex data formats and complexity

Javlin, the innovative leader in data integration, today announced a new release of CloverETL , the industry's fastest growing data integration software. With investment in CloverETL version 3.1, Javlin is outpacing the market need for the flexibility to manage a wide variety of data formats in an integrated enterprise environment.

A major feature is now Clover 3.1 brings dedicated components that integrate traditional structured data with semi-structured data and documents. Clover users can now ingest or populate documents from Lotus Notes, email and email attachments - a requirement common in many MDM and BI solutions. In addition, industry binary protocols and complex legacy data, common in telecom and banking formats, can now easily be graphically designed with custom parsers for proprietary data.

"Javlin's focus is to focus on the compelling issues in data integration and Clover 3.1 meets that need," stated Michal Tomcanyi, Javlin's CTO. "While others create and market massive integrated solutions and chase the data buzz words of the day, Javlin takes a different approach as a trusted data integration partner. We plan to do the heavy lifting of organizing and managing data -- in a sense, we just want to make it easier for our customers to do their work."

Clover 3.1 meets demand for cloud. As a host of new data sources arise from the popularity from cloud and unstructured data, Clover 3.1 meets that need. For example, Clover 3.1 adds support for WebDAV and Amazon S3 communication protocols.

Clover 3.1 meets demand for XML. Now with Clover 3.1, XML files with no size limits can be easily written, XSD metadata creation can be automated, and data can be read with complex structure and parse them using its specialized ComplexDataReader component.

Clover 3.1 meets demand for enriched data quality. With Clover 3.1, enhanced capabilities with AddressDoctor, the leader in address validation, are possible. With integration with Clover 3.1, users can now be enabled to validate and cleanse postal addresses globally. In addition, many other features, such as text transliteration or geocoding are now available.

The enhanced version of CloverETL ("Clover 3.1") will be available in June 2011.
