Of particular note, the center works closely with the Rehabilitation Medicine, which is exclusively equipped with robotic therapy for motor rehabilitation of upper extremities.

The robotic technology facilitates motor learning by continually challenging the patient and encouraging active effort through precise and intensive exercises. The equipment is interactive and is able to respond to a patient's changing ability and capacity.
Developed through research in medical engineering at the Newman Laboratory for Biomechanics and Human Rehabilitation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, this InMotion robotic system has been proven especially beneficial for post-stroke patients.
